I think the part of the class that stuck out the most to me has to be Professor Pryor. Like he has been the only professor as of now that actively tries to learn the names of the students who show up to his live lectures. What I am most proud of accomplishing in this class has to be actively going out and asking people to be interviewed for the class assignments and not being afraid of being turned down.
I don't really know if I have developed an entrepreneurial mindset but I wanna say I have. Ever now and then when I see a problem, I would think if there is any way you can fix that problem and monetize on that opportunity. I definitely can't be an entrepreneur but when I see an entrepreneur make a decision I could see the reason behind it.
One advice I would give to future students taking this class is to try and work 1-2 weeks ahead of class. The reason behind this is simple if you do assignments only when they're due once its midterms or finals you will be extremely stressed. However, if you were to work ahead you can avoid this problem. A way to help you accomplish this is by making a calendar with all the due dates.
Hi David,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love the choice of photo to include. Any meme with the Office is just entertaining (in my opinion). Plus, it is super ironic because there are like 700 people in this class. I also thought that entrepreneurship was just about starting a business before this class, but now I understand that having an entrepreneurship mindset can help you in so many areas of life. Nice reflection overall!
Hi David.
ReplyDeleteI agree, when you start the process of this class, initially you dive head first instead of taking a seat back. I have learned throughout this course that you need to understand the market before beginning the process. Finding resources and talking to others also helps revamp what you want for your company. Thanks for sharing

Hi David!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA again great pic! I agree, Dr. Pryor truly shows here cares. You mentioned how he tries to learn names of the students that attend class, I sadly wasn't able to attend the class from Germany, but he ALWAYS answered my emails. I've had some instructors that I would never hear back from. I have learned a lot from this class. I put my all into every assignment. If you would like to check out my blog here is the link https://g8trliz.blogspot.com/2019/11/30a-final-reflection.html
Thanks for always working ahead. It has truly helped me stay on top of the peer reviews :) Good luck with the remaining classes.

David,
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that the interviews were one of the hardest, most time taking parts of this class! I actually recommended that future students are ready to talk to people to get feedback. Why do you not believe you can be an entrepreneur? Lastly, your advice to work ahead is important and you have definitely done a great job of that in this class!
Hello David,
ReplyDeleteIt was nice seeing seeing your progress throughout the semester as I commented on multiple of your assignments. I agree that Professor Pryor shows that he cares for his students. He also taught with passion which helped me retain the information he taught better. I agree that the interviews we made with our friends was a confidence booster and it was right in the part of the semester that I needed to hear something positive.
Hello David,
ReplyDeleteI love the picture you chose, it was very funny. Anyways, just like you, I enjoyed this class very much throughout the semester. I believe I commented on your posts every week and I saw great improvement throughout the semester on your entrepreneurial mindset. Thank you.
Hi David!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely correct. Interviewing people was something that had me out of my element for sure! But also as you stated, as the assignments progressed and you got to exercise this area more, it became a bit easier to do. I'm glad you grew and enjoyed yourself in this class.
