Elevator Pitch No. 2

https://youtu.be/78CxuYLfiEc

I didn't really receive negative feedback despite me thinking my pitch was quite sloppy. But for the people who commented on my blog post, many praised me for being able to put them into a situation. Although I wasn't criticized, I felt like I need to use the 90-second time frame and add a price in there. So on the second pitch, that is what I tried to do. But besides that, I didn't really change much.

  1. Hi David!

I think your idea is interesting! I have a few friends that are beyond obsessed with keeping their cars and trucks spotless. I think it would be cool to do your pitch in front of a vehicle and actually show your product in action. Does it effect the wax on the car? As far as constructive criticism, I think you could make your hook more of an attention grabber. For example, "You just left the car wash and your on your way to your hot date, when all of a sudden a bird poops smack dab in the middle of your hood" LOL Just an idea :)

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. I like the fact you pulled out a prop for your pitch. I did the same thing for mine! I was really nervous when doing my pitch and I feel like you were more nervous in this one than the first! So be more confident in your product (and i'll try to be more confident in mine too!) I agree with the comment above, get people's attention faster with something like the comment from above!

  3. Hi David,
I liked the hook of your pitch it really engages the customer. Also, I loved how you had a prototype of your product and included the part about why your product is necessary and differernt than just soap and water. Since you mentioned you wanted critiques, I would suggest that you memorize and practice the pitch more so it has a better flow

  4. Hello David,
I agree with what the people said above, I think with just a little more practice you can feel more confident with what you are saying so that it just flows through. Having a visual was useful and gave you something to do with your hands. Also, I think you hook should be a littler shorter to get your customers attention faster and not lose it.

  5. Hi David,
You did a good job of making clear that your product is more effective than traditional soap and water. I also liked your prototype, which can prove that your product has a unique competitive advantage if it works as you say it does. Also, no reason to be nervous!

  6. Hey David,
As I've said before I really like this idea and will definitely be a customer if it plans out. I like how you pulled out an example of your product to be able to show the audience a real life scenario.

  7. Hey David,
You presented your idea great! You were animated, said all of the information, and had a great choice of words. You're very confident in your idea and what it can do and it shows greatly through how you presented it.
